I really don't know how to place it as either an expansion since it is a stand alone game or a game onto itself even tho it is a continuation of a series.
What I do know is that Nightfall is seemingly different while being the same.
Confused yet?
All I know is that while pvp is still the center the story got kicked up alot as did the quests and objectives. There is more variation of the theme and diff ways of dealing with quests.
The new Hoeroes Henchmen are STILL henchmen but far more customizable.
(I tend to slap everything with paragon being second profession I really like it!)
Paragon is like a angelic guardian while Dervish is like a VERY angry holyman.
While I LOVE the Dervish look I have yet to utilize them unlike the Paragon which just a few spells makes him rockin. I use little of motivation but few spells I do make a difference and having the rest and mainly warrior really gives him a nasty bite with spears.
I dunno I love the look and feel of African/Egyptian theme and the style and lore is faboo. I can almost say it's worth a second look at the guildwars series JUST because of what they did here.
