I saw the add for this software recently and decided to check it out. It's still in Beta right now, but so far I like it. I've been looking for somekind of spreadsheet for years to list all my comics. I have something like 22 long boxes and it's kind of hard to keep up with what I do and don't have. I was wondering if anyone else has used this and what their opinion on it was.

I started experimenting with it over the weekend. Seems decent enough, but I wish there was some way to add books that are not in their system yet (ie some way to have some user specific books or something).

I know you can submit the missing books to them, but it certainly breaks your groove as you're entering books to have to fill the data in (especially if you don't have a scanner). I had to submit the Ultimate FF TPB's 2-6 on the weekend, and that was only the first few I found.

Considering most of the system is entered by users, I guess someone has to do it. I have several books that I have to enter in that they don't have. I'll just be glad when they eventually add a price guide. I think the whole thing has a lot of potential.

I'll probably try to use it more in general once I get around to it. It's been years since I updated the old program I wrote for myself, and I never did complete the conversion to Java/MySQL (from Delphi/Paradox), so pretty much all the books I've gotten in the past few years are unrecorded.

I don't care for a price guide as much, I just want to know what I have and what I'm missing more than anything.

Used it a bit more a few weeks ago; entered in my loose books and one of my boxes. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but missing books can be a pain. Their method for adding new entries is a bit awkward it seems, and finicky, but I think I just have to get used to the submission method.

I'll also have to get a scanner for the books I have without entries. Oh well scanner printers are only 70$ or so.

1 box down, 8 more to go. :}

I've had to take a break. I got severely burnt out. I'm getting the urge to start up again, though. I've gotten about 3 boxes done so far.
