so, it looks like it's been locked by forces unknown, which means that until it's been left alone for 24 hours, it's staying that way. If someone knows the password, feel free to post it.

I'm not sure who set the password, but it's currently

Which is a pretty common set up for the other community sites that have serverwide chat channels in place. So, I believe the password to be an accident. But, maybe an accident we should continue to practice.

I dunno, with a population of like, 15 at best, and it's a moderately quiet group at that, I don't see the advantage of a password myself.

The password allows the name to be reserved for 24 hours whether someone is in the channel or not. It has nothing to do with the number of people posting in the channel.
