I subscribed to this because I liked the artwork samples I had seen, particularly the Samwise covers. I was hoping for something that was heavy on lore and storyline, and so far it does NOT deliver in that respect.

Without spoilers, I will just say the characters are for the most part annoying and the situations somewhat unbelievable (yes... I know its WoW, but I just wanted something a little deeper)

Basically it's nonstop fighting and bickering for the two issues I have read thus far. I'm hoping it improves... WoW has some deep and interesting lore that they could draw upon for the tone of the story.

Has anyone else read these and care to comment?

As I said, the artwork is great, but the story is somewhat lacking... though that may improve as the series progresses.

They're bringing in modern humor to a medieval world. They, indeed, do not mix well. I agree with you, Zarith.
