Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows some good product sites or otherwise where I can study up a bit on computer art. I dont know much about it but I want to check it out and see if it is something I can get into.
Also, if you wanted to suggest some programs, or post the ones you use that would be great. Include some examples if at all possible.

I would recomend trying GIMP or Photoshop and just tinkering with them GIMP's free (well last time i looked it was) Photoshop is a try before you buy thing.

Personly I use a combo of Gimp, Photoshop, Painshop Pro, Paint (MS yea laugh if you wana) and another one but i cant think of its name and im not going to go booting the laptop to find out hehe.

I use MS paint my self haha!! simple yet very useful! I also use macromedi fireworks MX, paint shop pro 7 and photoshop along with MS paint.

Jasc PaintShop Pro... cheaper alternative to Photoshop

www.jasc.com and there's a 30 day trial too.

I use photoshop but its pricetag is not for the faint of heart.
