Text problems on comp

Recently I booted up my comp and went to a message board and noticed all the text was HUGE though all the text on the page remained the same. Thought it was the board so I checked another one, same deal.

Has anyone encountered this problem and if you have how did you go about fixing it. It is frustrating enough at this point to where I am considering just formatting and reinstalling. And although fun, I would have to backup a few cd's worth of family photos, so any ability to circumvente that would be welcome.

P.S. And unlike my family I do not believe that my imminent 25th birthday is causing my eyesight to fail and my computer is taking preventatory measures to ensure that I will still be able to see it. (And I do not care if preventatory is a word or not, you know what my senile old mind means)

If you're using Internet Explorer, click on the View tab at the top of the window and then click "Text Size", and see what the size is set at. Default is Medium. My guess would be that it got changed to Large or Largest.

Thanks Serr, that actually fixed it. I can not believe I missed something so simple... ah well. Just glad it is fixed.

As a side note in future -- holding down the control key and scrolling the mouse wheel will size the text in IE and a few other things.

It really chews up a good style sheet.
