I had been reading lore of EQ since the game came out, also jsut recently started reading WTFcomics. Also did some searches and found out that EQ has released a comic series in the past. I would like to find out where to buy em online. I doubt (and dont wanna check) that my local comic book store would be carrying em. So if someone can help me (tell me) where I can buy this comic book series online. would be so much appreciated. thanks!

I have actually seent he first "book" of the EQ comic. It was HORRIBLE. I honestly would have no idea where to find these, but I can ask the friend who has the first comic where he got it.

The first EQ comic was about a Dark Elf chick who do the mission to Ogguk to deliver a note to Kyern and met up with an Ogre who made her see things differently and ended up doing the Aegis of Thunder shield quest... All in all not a bad attempt, the art is great in some places but lacks consistancey in others. Its worth the few bucks IMO.

The comic that came with EQ Gold was pretty funny. "Didn't you train me yesterday?" "No."

Paraphrased, and more of an interpretation than actual lines.

Javic Isen, Paladin of Mithanieel Marr, looks for a cleric to help him on a most noble of quests hunting Orcs in the Commonlands... Comes across a hottie High Elf Redhead Cleric who seems to remember then name Jevic from her past... She declines the offer and Jevic says something like "Such is the tides of life" or some crap like that... Cleric pauses for a second because she remembers that phrase from her past... She decides to go with the Paladin and basically nags liek a which to hear about his story...

They are jumped by a Lion... Jevic... Complete with Fiery Avenager is getting his ass kicked and cleric is reluctant to help him because she cannot shake this feeling about him that he knows her from an unpleasent past... Jevic swears upon MM that no harm will come to her thanks to healing agro then kills the lion as it lunges to her...

Jevic cracks and splurges on his past...

Jevic Bane, Warrior of Rallos Zek had little regard for others... KS'd a group hunting Deathfist Orcs involving this hot red headed High Elf Cleric... Cleric whines and complains... Jevic says "Such is the tides of life" and runs off with the scaple

Jevic then trains a bunch of people hunting crocs for food (NPC's) with Specters... Apparently he though a weak as warrior could go solo the Spec cave...

Jevic Bane starts to reflect on what he had done after the carnage the Specs did to these poor fishermen people...

Cut back to cleric and good Jevic... She is rethinking her dislike of Jevic when an Orc attacks from behind and Jevic saves her life but gets cleaved in the chest pretty bad...

Severly wounded good Jevic looks at Hot Red Headed Cleric and says "I assure you my lady... Jevic Bane is dead"

Cleric decides she wants to sleep with Good Jevic.. Heals him Completely and they run off together to make good little bastard Half Elf childern... The End.

LOL well put Mordican specially the ending, left me cackling.

Yeah now that Verant is gone, btw what are they doing?, I think that a big macho corp. like Sony might overthink having comics made by them.

Basically they skipped around to much... The story was a good attempt, but just skipped to much content.. The catch with EQ is that if your going to do any story, comic, or book off of it you can really only use the EQ world as a basis for the comic as far as the settings go. Writing a comic about a world that has thousands of heros doing extaordinary things on a daily basis takes away from what you can do with a story.
