Okay well I finally got Halo working again on my comp. Before it used to blue screen when I tried playing. I more or less ignored the problem for the last 4 month by simply not playing it. Well I did some digging and found that the problem was not what I expected it to be. It seems all my problems were from updating to the latest drivers. Those 4 month old drivers don't work right and simply downgrading to the previous drivers fixed my problem.

So if any of you guys start having graphics problems on a geforce card, just use the older drivers to fix try and fix your problem.

Unfortunately this has become a lot more common. It just isn't with nVidia also. ATI has had their share of issues. It is always a good idea, if you are having a problem with a game, to check out the driver issues, going back, not just forward.

I find that there are always several people that are willing to fingure out the problem pretty quickly, so I jkust try to find the official forums. They tend to have the player fixes somewhere there.

On the bright side at least your playing the game at last! Unfortunately, we have to find the driver that works best for our setups. Neither Nvidia nor ATI can anticipate every possible tweak you may or may not have done (or even been aware of doing!), so some drivers simply do not work to your satisfaction.

If you need a site to hunt down some older drivers (or test out the new "unreleased" versions) check out Guru3D (http://www.guru3d.com/). Very useful. There are tons of sites out there so take your pick, this is just one that I frequent a bit when I need some "new" drivers. :P
