Monitor Brightness

I have noticed that since brighening my Monitor i've noticed i'm seeing things better on my computer. What is the best brightness setting?

Depends on your personal preference, and what sort of programs you're running.

If you play a lot of games on your computer, turning up the brightness can make a big difference... but if you mostly use the computer for browsing the internet and/or doing work, then it might be better to turn it down to make it easier on the eyes.

Dont turn up your monitor's brightness too high, instead make sure that black still looks like black and not a backlit black sign, then adjust the contrast higher so that the bright colors stand out further. If you boost your brightness too high, then you get washed-out colors.
