Ahh $&#%!!! (EQ2)

Everytime I try to load the zone to kill the orc on Refugee Island, I crash to the character select screen. I missed 2 groups for that orc and I can't load the zone. I've loaded it fine before, it only screwed up once before, but I tried at least 5 times now and restarted the whole program. Anyone else get this problem?

Nope. Mind you, that quest is purely optional. The XP and item is nice, but if you're that mad, just quit the quest and do your "Welcome to <city>" thing.

In EQ1 I would delete the zone files associated to the bug and then have patcher fix them for me (re-download and replace corrupted file)

It fixed itself, after posting I went on and then it worked.

I havent had that problem, been in and out of the Orc cave Multiple times w/ no errors. I have heard that EQ2 has a problem with.. Forget what they called it, a Memory Leak? Something to do with, if you zone several times, many times, in one session you can end up crashing out.

I'm fairly sure I had this problem a month or two ago, but not at all more recently than that. It may have been one of thier "Fixes" since then.

I actually just did that thing with my new fighter alt, was alot of fun and I got a decent shield from the quest. I had alot of fun on the island this 3rd time around then the first two. Fighter is a very fun class to play in EQ2
