I've been playing WoW, and alot of times when I run into towns (Goldshire, Darkshore, etc), I get aot of lag! I just purchased a 256MB Ram Stick, which'll increase my ram to 512MB. I haven't tested it out because I'm at my grandma's house. My question is, what do I need to improve to make WoW run smoothly? Heres my System Specs:

Pentium 4 2.4GHz
512MB Ram
nvidia FX5200 128MB PCI (My Computer has no AGP slot...)
Broadband Internet Connection

What do you guys think? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should be alright with that new 512 stick. I only got a little lag in Orgrimmar with this setup

2.7ghz Celeron
512mb Ram
Geforce FX 5200 256mb
Cable internet

The 256 stick should have helped a lot.

I personally would upgrade to 1G of RAM but it should run fairly smoothly with 512

I am running smoothly except for the Auction House cities with 512 Ram. Of course its DDR 400, bit better than SDR which I beleive you have from previous threads.

With 1GB of ram you will be running smooth.

Also, running 3400+ Athlon here.

I agree, more RAM. 512 will be good but 1 gig will be noticably better for a lot of games.
