GU hits SanDiego Dec. 8th

Sigil is flying me in Monday, Dec. 8th. I'll be getting in around 4:30, and probably to my hotel by 6pm and ready to roll out to meet folks.

Nothing is set in stone yet as to where I'll be that evening, but I would like everyone to be able to come out and laugh with me for a while.

For some reason Monterey has some kind of jedi mind trick that compels me to visit every so often.

Every time I take a trip to Cali, I make it a point to stop in Monterey.

My mother loved it there when she visited me. She loves Kinkade and she bought like 4 paintings there. (there's like 4 or 5 Kinkade galleries throughout Monterey and Pacific Grove for some reason)

If you're in the mood for burgers while you're out here, there are a couple places that you should try to go to. Jack in the Box has the Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger, which IMO is simply the best cheeseburger you'll find. The other one, which is a close second, is the Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger from Carl's Jr. I don't know if they have these chains out on the East Coast or not, but I know they aren't in the Mid-West (near Chicago anyways) so be sure and stop by one or both while you're out here, you won't regret it :wink: .

Looks like Sigil is getting ready to show us what they have been working on. I am not surprised that it is coming up soon either. It makes since that they would make a major announcement right around the time that their arch rival EQ2 is coming to market.

Can't say i've ever been to a mongolian barbeque around here, though some of my friends have been wanting to take me to one. Better late then never i suppose.

as for the burger joints, i have to agree. In-n-out burgers are better than most other places, however their fries leave a wierd fishy aftertaste in my mouth. must be because of the vegitable oil or something...
