Well, today my mom and stepdad decided to go drop off some garden stones at my Grandma and Grandpa's house. While we were taking the main street down Lake Ave., there was a police scene on the road, which means we had to take a shortcut. We were wondering what happened, and alls we saw as a car parked up on the sidewalk.
So we delievered the stones, went out to eat, picked up my brothers, and headed on home. We checked the news on before midnight, but nothing showed up about it. So we went on with our night time activities.
At about 2:00am, my brother asks me to check out a News website. So I loa up Firefox, type in the address, and he points me to the article, and the answer to my question of what happened at that Police Scene:

One man is dead and another is in serious condition following a hit and run accident in the city Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Lake Avenue near Britton Road. Police say Joseph Lechner and Damon Seeber were crossing Lake Avenue when they were hit.
Seeber died at Strong Memorial Hospital while Lechner remains at Strong for treatment of serious injuries.
Police are looking for an early '90s black Toyota. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

I kep thinking to myself, where have I heard this name before?
Then it hit me.
When I started school in a tutoring program, there a kid named Damon Seeber there. Everyone liked him because he was a funny and smart kid. The day I arrived was the day he was leaving the program, so I only got to see him for one day.
Now he's dead. Gone forever. No more. Its just wierd that something so random would happen like this. I hope they find the guy who crashed the car.
R.I.P. Damon Seeber, May you rest in Peace.
