As a fellow highschooler at 17, and a senior (finally!). Ive never had to switch school districts in my life, but I have visited other high schools for a class and I completely understand how you are nervous. My highschool is a whole different world compared to another one in the town next door.

And what do you mean by stupid kids? I say if your learning then your not stupid. Don't let others rub it in, tell them to shut up and back off or something. I usually wouldn't give advice like that but still, like I said being also in highschool, at least in mine, you have to be very blunt and sometimes extremely rude to people. Everyone knows its not insulting, we have a very mutual understanding at my school.

Eventually you will understand what to say and how to say it to the fellow students at your new school.

If you need to bitch and moan about anything or need some advice, give me an IM on AIM, I am RedPill2222.

Good luck bro.

Well I seriously doubt you are actually of lower intelligence then the individuals who are poking fun at you. I was held back in school one year when I was younger. After they found I was LD and that my previous school was *substandard* I ended up advanced a year again. Go to the school and learn as much as you can. Also try and work out how much of your current school issues are your reactions to whats come before this. For a lot of us the educational system throughs up a lot of roadblocks on its own. We get so used to fighting them we start pre-empting them and end up defeating ourselves.

Do NOT let anyone tell you that you are stupid. If you're trying, then you're not stupid. There are tons of reasons why someone could need a little bit of extra help in education from physical to emotional to environmental and beyond. As long as you are doing your sincere best, you're NOT stupid.

I really detest that word so much. It's been completely banned from our house and I refuse to let it come out of my 5 year old's mouth.
