I saw this on a show recently, this guy was just going around giving pick-up lines.
Here's the deal: We're each going to do one funny one, and one serious one. I'll start.
*take girls hand*
I'll read your future
hmmm
interesting...
Girl: Is there something wrong?
you: no, i just wanted to hold your hand.
Serious:
I have a question for you. Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?
so, whos game?

Oh, God...seriously, don't ever ever use that one....one guy used that on me once...I about puked on him.
Umm...I can't think of any serious ones, so I'll give you two funnies.
1. (Used on my sister-in-law at a dance club) "Nice shoes, wanna f***?"
2. (Same guy as the heaven one) He looked back at me and looked startled, so I said, "What?"
"Nothing....I just could have sworn I saw an angel over my shoulder."
That guy was a brother of a friend, so I saw him pretty often. NEVER went out with him, though...no matter how many cheesy lines he threw at me. *shudder*
I can't think of any serious ones, but what I like to do is when a girl compliments me slightly, no matter how minute, I go
"God stop hitting on me so hard, you have no chance getting this fine piece of @$$"
They never expect it.

Honestly, I think most pick up lines are cheesy, and the girls they work on likely aren't for me.
But all that aside, I'll leave you one that always gave me a chuckle.
"The word of the day is legs, now let's go back to my place and spread the word!"

I never understood the need for pickup lines. They're always cheesy and just plain lame. There's only one serious "pickup line" a guy will ever need:
"Hi, what's your name?"

'So, you're a girl, huh?'
'If I followed you home, would you keep me?'
'Can I borrow a quarter? I want to call your mom and thank her.'
Really, this may as well just be a thread about BAD pick up lines. No such thing as a good one.

I don't think that pick-up lines actually work if you take them seriously. They're meant as jokes for the most part and meant to make the other person laugh. And laughter is one of the best ice-breakers out there.
One I've always wanted to use, although it requires a bit of prep work, is to print up a few buisness cards. On one side it'd have "Please flip card over" and on the other it'd say "Smile if you want to sleep with me", then just see if they have to force themselves to not crack a smile.

It looks like we're giving up on real pickup lines so here's my funny one.
Excuse me, do you have any [insert ethnic group] in you? No? Would you like to?

Never intended it to be serious :)
Just like to read funny pick-up lines
I saw this one on "The View"
"Hey, im a stud muffin, want a bite?"
I sense "boo's" and tomatoes coming my way for that one...

My husband is a humorous guy and when we first met he licked his finger then wiped it on my shirt and said to me "You need to get out of those wet clothes before you catch a cold!"
I thought it was the cheesiest line ever but it was funny and made me giggle...too bad I married him cuz even now I still have to hear all of his oddly humorous pick-up lines even though we have been together for over 10 years.

I have no idea how the hell I get away with it :-)

"I think you're beautiful and I'd like to get to know you better. Would you like to go out with me?"
There are plenty of pickup-lines that arn't cheesy. Perhaps they're not very interesting, but hey!

Proably the rudest phrase it has ever been my displeasure to overhear;
"Are they real?"

I was in a bar (in my normal well-past-intoxicated state) talking with a friend, and swapping many of these bad lines, trying to come up with the worst. A girl was walking by at the moment, and I noticed a tattoo on the small of her back. I said “Nice tattoo”. She stopped and it to showed me. (And this part made complete sense to me…at the time…I guess she didn’t know about the game we were playing) I said “let’s go back to my place and look for more.” My jaw hurt for about 20 minutes, but I’ve never heard my friends laugh harder.
I am a big fan of the “Hi, I’m Bob” line. Probably the most smooth one I have ever used is: one night at Karaoke there were a few girls at the table about 10 feet away. The one girl kept eyeing me. After about an hour I worked up the courage to walk over. I walked over, and sat down at their table. They all looked at me. I sat there and took a drink of beer. Finally after an agonizing 10 second delay in silent anticipation my explaining what I was doing there I leaned in over the table, and turned so I could see my table over my shoulder and pointed to my friend. I said to the girl that was eyeing me “see that guy over there?” She said yes. I said “he wants you to give me your phone number”. She said “Why?” I said “because I’m kind of a whiney ass, and he is sick of me complaining that I don’t have anyone as cute as you to date.”
I got the number.
To the girl i like a hellova lot.
me-"The girl I like is the sweetest, nicest, coolest girl ever."
her-"who is it?"
me" you.."

Yea, but my cat wouldn't appricate it very much if I draged him aorund the mall. So unless a Bloody tee shirt and ripped up face is attractive. I'll stick with the cheesy pick up lines.
