This is a story based on my Elder Scrolls III character. I have always thought it had a good story line and i have always liked how i played the character. please forgive the name errors, with that game its hard to remember exactly how its spelled. If you've never played, i'll do my best so that you know what the heck i'm talking about.
This starts out in the Skall Village on Solthseim....

Valin woke up from his long slumber in his log house. The House of the Blodskall as it had been named, was given to him for his great deeds during the events of the Bloodmoon. He looked around at the walls and shelves that bore various trophies he had earned. These were small in comparison to his trophy room in Raven Rock.
He had saved Vvardenfell from the devil, Dagoth Ur, and freed the capital city from the corruption of Almalexia. He had decorated his house in Raven Rock with the spoils of his adventures.
His recent settlement of Raven Rock had only added to his collection, and he had just returned to the Skall Village from acquirring an enchanted spear that had belonged to the Snow Prince.
Valin put on his Red Royal Gaurd Armor he had acquired from King Helseth. He put his helmet under his shoulder, hoisted up the sword Trueflame and put it in its sheath.
He opened the door to the cold of Solthseim. The ground had been worn down from the movement of the people in this viking-esque village. Valin nodded to the Skall Honor Gaurd that was on his patrol. The great hall had remained empty since the death of Tharsten Heart-Fang, the chieftan. When Hircine, the Daedra-Prince, had captured him and forced him to fight in his tournament against his werewolves, it was discovered in the inner ring that Heart-Fang was a werewolf and Valin had to kill him. Valin had emerged victorious after vanquishing the demon-prince and narrowly escaping the following destruction alive. The werewolves had almost dissapeared, but the Skall still remained leaderless.
the shaman, Korst Wind-Eye, had temporarily taken over the job, but was eager to have a new chieftan. Valin walked to where Korst stood, overseeing the people as they went about there business.
"Greetings Blodskall, all is well?" Korst greeted.
"I think so, i will be returning to Raven Rock and then to Vvardenfell."
"Hmmm, I do not like that you leave us, but you always return."
"Yes, i intend to return. There is an area near Karstagg that i haven't scouted out yet."
"Well safe journey to you. I hope your ventures in the Imperials Island go well."
"Take care of the village Korst. I will return."
Valin waved to a gaurd he had become acquainted with and strapped on his Stalhirim Ice Shield he had recieved from the Raven Rock soldiers. He put on his helmet and took off at a run down the steep hill and down to Lake Fjalding. He ran along the edge of the lake, past the Seal-like Horkers.
As he passed a sloping hill that was the perch of the Thirsk Mead Hall where they were rebuilding from the Udyferkyte attack. He passed by with barely a wave, he was supposed to attempt the trials to become chieftan of Thirsk, but he had been too busy for the long walk.
He waded through a shallow portion of the river to the other side and continued on west.
The Raven Rock Colony he had helped found was now a busy Ebony Mine. His house overlooked the ocean and the forest, but he already had his supplies. The Dunmer who operated the boats waved to him, "Ready to return to the Fort?"
"Yes, my morning walk made me ready for easy travel." Valin said through his helmet.
He could have easily traveled directly to the fort, which was faster, but there was a White Snow Bear that occaisionally appeared there.
Back at the Imperial Fort Frostmoth, he cast a sideways glance at the fort with the still battered battlements. It had been attacked by Hircine's werewolves and they had destroyed parts of the fort. Unknown to everyone, he bore a ring that allowed him to become a werewolf at will, he had taken it from Heart-Fang.
Valin boarded the ship and sailed for Vvardenfell.
