So, Monday, after 13 hours of travelling, I finally reach America again. And hell, the moment I walk into this apartment I share with Shan, I just feel right at home. This is it for me, the big one, the big stick with it and don't let go bit.
Next up- marriage, and *shudders* responsability. Never respectability though. That just wouldn't sit right.
The only problem is finding something to do while I'm waiting to get a work permit. I've already alphabetized the CDs, built two bookcases (not actually put the books in them yet, but hey), and read all 7 Sin City books...
Can't even play my consoles until I find a plug adapter with a power converter type thing (any advice on what to look for there, by the way?), and as for going out for walks, my sense of direction leaves something to be desired. I could get lost in two corridors running side by side.
Still, despite the eventual boredom I know will eventually set in, I can honestly say I've never been happier.

Don't you DARE sully the good name of the Gael by becoming respectable! We have a reputation to uphold! ;-)

Nah, couldn't do the whole respectable thing. That'd mean being nice to people I don't like. And if I did that, I'd start drinking a lot more. And if I did that, I'd be in the bathroom all the time. And then I'd get nothing done. See what respectability does to you kids?

Uh oh. By all accounts I'm pretty respectable.
What should I do?!
(I participated in a pig pile at a concert tonight. I guess that'll help erase some of that...right?)

He wears a skirt and plays an instrument that classifies under Geneva Convention dictates as a torture device, he's good to go ;-)

That is a most distrubing mental image. *jibblies*

It has been my experience that women tend to think dirtier things, but then again, I haven't much experience with men.

I was just gonna say "You're missing out," but that would just be wrong.
