Mild Warlock

I have hardly eaten in 6 days. I haven't been able to keep any thing down when I eat and every smell makes me nauseous.
Doctor said its a stomach virus and to get plenty of fluids. and that it would get worse before it gets better. But I am about to pass out here. I have done nothing to night but visit intimately with the white pedestal.
I am losing more fluid than I take in as even water sets me off. the only thing I seem to be able to eat is cottage cheese. yek =o6
If this gets any worst I don't know what I am going to do.....OH GOD..

I went through something like that last summer. Two things to do.
1) Sports drinks are your new best friend. They are high in calories, and your body absorbs it quickly. Even if it doesn’t stay in your body, it will help some before it leaves. (Should it decide not to stay in your body, choose a color that does not stain i.e. Gatorade lemon lime, or Power-aid has a white colored one that is good.) When I was sick I was going through 1-1.5 gallons a day. Don’t use the powdered stuff, it doesn’t work as well.
2) Eat anyway. I know that this advice sucks, but eat things that your body will quickly absorb like bread and fruit. Eat only really soft things, and in small quantities. Soda Crackers a great place to start, as they are carbs for calories, and salt which will help your body retain water to help fight off dehydration. I know that it was probably bad for me, but I ate some candy (pixie sticks) and got some energy from it. I don’t think that the sugar was probably the best thing for me to have, but I needed calories, and that was something that would absorb before it could …relocate itself outside my body.
Good Luck

Did you give this to me Warlock? I've not been able to keep anything down for a couple of days now... I'm also missing a lot of classes :\

Um...sounds like morning sickness. :o Have you been drinking the water here? Do we have proof that it works on men now? :D
Seriously, though. Eat anything, even if it's stuff that's "bad" for you. In this state, if you can keep it down, it's good for you. Straight sugar is better than nothing, and your body needs energy to fight it off. Gatorade is a really good idea.

Hmm...been typing this and practicing this before. (Got over the weird crud I got Saturday.)
Sprite, saltine cracker or goldfish crackers. Followed by Gatorade. Usually works for me.
And not always taken in that order.
I did find a creamy soup helped as well. I'm partial (mispelled) to New England clam chowder.
Get lots of rest while you can as well.
Hopefully something will make you feel better, even if my ideas don't work for ya.

If it is so bad that you can't keep anything at all down for too long, it is possible to go to the ER, they can give you an iv which will help rehydrate you as well as some antinausea meds that will help you keep some food down.
I actually almost did this earlier this summer when I was having my major bouts of morning sickness. Luckily I started to keep stuff down before getting to that point.
I also totally swear by the gatorade, and eating anything that will stay down. Heck for a month or so I would eat potato chips for breakfast every day because that was the only thing that would stay down.
