Sooo...many of you know that my husband has been in OSUT training for the past 3 and a half months (OSUT is kind of like a combination of basic and AIT), and I've been very pregnant and huge most of that time. Well...in eight more days, his parents and I will be driving to Georgia for his graduation! In ten more days, I will get to see my husband, and bring him back home with me!!! TEN DAYS! I'm SO EXCITED! I can't wait! :D

bring him comfort food and if at all possible, comfort nookie (he has had neither for quite some time) :D

Aaah..food, definitely! He's had nothing seasoned at all for quite a while....Other stuff.....that will have to wait...I'm pretty close to my due date (I'll be two weeks away by then), and funny business has been known to induce labor. :) I'd rather not have the baby on the road!

WOOT! Or maybe I should say HOOHAH! BTW don't be surprised if he uses words like hoohah, roger that, or squared away.

I've got three more months before I get any comfort.

Yes bring him comfort! full body massages! Plenty of kisses and hugs!

I would've loved to have that when I got out of basic, but alas...nothing.

....sort of....

Woot! Happy to hear you get to see him again!

Be prepared to wake up in the middle of the night to him yelling "Sir, yes sir!" ;) My father did that for a while when I use to live with him. Even though he hadn't been in any training for a while.

he's Army, so his in-dream murmurs and shouts will be "YES DRILL SERGEANT!!"

Army?

Georgia?

errr, he at Gordon or Bragg?

If its Gordon, he's had his comfort food, or at elast unless they changed the policies there the cooks even make choclate cake and there is an soft Icecream machine.

He's at Ft. Benning. Ft. Bragg is in N. Carolina, that's where he'll be going for Airborne training. :D
Hehe...I already have my "massage kit" packed up and ready to go...I'll bet he's got a LOT of sore muscles. And I don't mind if he wakes up yelling in the middle of the night, as long as he's waking up in MY BED! :D

NINE MORE DAYS!

ok Ft benning, OSUT for 3 months, he is not 11 Bang Bang then......what MOS is he?

Edit to add: Also Airborne training is in FT Benning, if he pulled the training at Bragg let me know how, that would mean I wouldnt have to move 2 more times /grin

He's 11c....mortarman. Airborne training could be at Bragg or Benning, but since he's going for Special Forces, we were told he'd be at Bragg, since that's where SF training is......of course, that doesn't really mean anything. That's not till later, though. Right now, after his leave, he's stationed at Ft. Drum in NY. 10th Mountain Division. Right in time for winter. :?

benning, right. for no apparent reason I always get those 2 mixed up.

unless things have changed by the end of basic you don't have sore muscles so much as a case of tired. the muscle soreness has become kinda a constant companion.

Look out! Crazy pregnant woman on the loose.

Seriously though, enjoy every moment with him that you can. Have fun at Ft. Benning and make sure you know where the hospital is located.

-edit- why can't I end a sentence with a preposition.
