The ticket stub does not have enough space to include the full title, but that is all that was needed.
The ticket stub simply said Violence, and that is what you are walking into for this movie. The story is unique and keeps you intrigued throughout. There is great parrallel between the father and son. The scenery sneaks in tidbits that I would call nifty, and there are moments of crude humor that don't deserve laughter, but out of nervousness will probably recieve some. The fight sceens, while brief, were well done. This movie really picks at your emotions because you are unsure of which side you should take.
Warning: If blood and guts bother you, be careful when you watch this film. The glimpses of carnage are short yet catch your attention. The fighting is blunt and to the point and the scenes are well organized in camera placement and are fluid motions that left me in a sort of awe. This is no kung fu movie, but the gestures are well planned and tie in the scenes.
The best part was that the main plot of the story was not thrown into previews, and you want to trust Mr. Stall, but later realize that the horrible things he does tie in with his dark history.
I enjoyed this movie, and think that it was well put together, I like how the director went through with everything and enjoyed the performance of Viggo.
