from a failed project (image is a bit grapic)

I was contacted by an author who wanted me to do some drawings for his grapic novel. It did not pan out because he said my style is to "unrefined" and rough, which I totally agree with lol. but I found this forum and decided to see what all of you think. like or dis-like? the image is a bit gory so you have been warned :twisted: . I am thinking of showing some more of my art here if you will welcome it, and I promise it will not be as gory as this one ( unless asked to lol)

wow that is a bit more than gory.

i agree with the author about your style being "unrefined" but that doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't a decent artist. Everyone has their own style, run with what you have.

and I will. I am happy with my art, and while this piece is an extream exception, it does show what I can do. The reason I posted this particular piece is that tis the only one I have on my comp at this time lol. I'm not what you call a high-tech artist. I prefer to work with my hands and build 3D things and work on paper then on a computer, I have thou recently bught some art programes and if I ever get a piece good enough I will try to post it here. I have enjoyed the other works of art here and that also is what motivated me to post here.
