Due to the length of the bloody monstrosity that is the excerpt, and character limitations on the new forums, I simply compiled, webbed, and hosted it in one piece for people to look at. As this is a work in progress, it will change as time goes by. Bear in mind, this is copywritten material, please respect that.

If you haven't read this yet do it! If you're a fan of Breandan's posts you'll like it. It might be long but it's definitely worth printing out and reading. I'm no critic but I know what I like and this is it.

Two quick things I liked. One was the subtle reference to the speed of light as simply "C" as if it was common slang. As in E=mc2 (energy equals mass times the speed of light squared.) The other was the subplot with Oengus and his poor bagpipes.

Just an update note, the URL for the story sample has moved, and it has been updated and added to substantially. I figured I'd give more for people to get hooked on :D

Warnings- 1) it's sci-fi, which is less-than-popular in some circles, and 2) it's long... REALLY long, as in grab a sack lunch long :D

I'm guilty of not reading this.. And Brean has linked and asked me to like.. 23,453 times.

Two reasons why, A) it's long and I lack time and B) it's sci-fi, and it takes alot for me to get into a story that is sci-fi.

Eventually, when we move, get a new laptop and printer, I will print this sucker out and start reading it. Fo rizzo.
