ok so last night i was down at our version of the 7/11 and in the queue and some horrible child was playing with the stand where you fill in your lottery tickets.
anyway the horrible little gnoll was ignoring its mother and swinging on the pen chain when "SNAP WHAM" the chain snapped the child fell on the floor and the front of the cabinet ever so slowly fell to pieces on top of the child.
(at this point to partially excuse why the next bit happened ill just say i spend
nearly every night on wow and on teamspeak)
/back to the story
at this point i looked at the child and in a deadpan voice without thinking said
" roflcopter "
to make it worse i heard the guy behind me mumble at me "geek"

Heh, thats good
A few months ago I was out with my family at a resurant, we were just being seated when a few rows over I see a kid start crying realy loud for some reason. His mother gets him to his feet and practacly pushes him out the door, obviously to scold him. Just as they pass us I say quietly "there goes the whambulance", because thats similiar to what I think of when someone is whining on what ever fourm Im reading. My family laguhs and the girl that was seating us gave me a look that said "exactly". I know my family didnt know the true meaning of that phrase but I belive that girl did.

Word to that, scribbleJAM.
The CS:S server I play on consists of about 15 "adults"(people over the age of 18) and we do this all the time to each other. Yelling "geek" quotes, and just being dumb... But the worst thing is: When I saw Doom: The movie, My friends and I all shouted the "boom headshot" bit as loud as we could during the FPS part. funny though it was.

I find myself surprised that some people still consider 'geek' a perjorative term. Thought the general consensus was that it's a badge of honour that you have to earn.

well, Coffee, neither you nor I can qualify as geeks because we are both big, tattooed scary Gaelic men, so we have to invent a new catagory- closet geek ;-)

What about small pasty gaelic men.. they need to be fed more beef and get down thisaway so we can jab 18 clustered needles dipped in blue ink into them at a rapid rate of speed to make them look like this (http://ciarraide.org/images/tattoos_composite.jpg)

Aye, a few artist renditions would be a good start... But alas.. I have not come to terms with my insecurities on perminant body art. Though the small part of my statement wasn't true to form, though not the 6'6 300+ pounder, I can hold true to not being refered to as small. er um.. What did I just say?
