I hated this game. I very rarely truly dislike a game, I understand it isnt always going to suit my likes. But I really truly hate this game. I will give four reasons:

I. The graphics were beautiful but I felt the overall textures and lighting effects detracted from the environment.
II. The controls, particularily on the Horse were atrocious, I understand the Protagonist is not supposed to be a super athlete...but why does he run like he has something wedged between his legs? I spent 15 minutes just trying to get the little bugger to make an easy jump...and every time he fell I had to swim for a minute to get back to the ramp.
III. I love the idea of Colossi, that each challenge is to climb and slay a Titan which is incredible to look upon...but whoever decided that the player should have to kill 16 of them needs to be bludgeoned to death with a frozen woodchuck.
IV. The game is inherently epic...but incredibly boring once you get past the first five or so Colossi, the first few challenges are interesting and require strategic thought...after that they get VERY redundant. Let alone the fact that every time its Appear at Temple, Get new Clue, run across sparse and empty lands,(another big problem, why are there no more animals than lizards, eels, and the occasional Hawk?). Find Colossi, kill Colossi, return to temple, rinse, wax, wipe, repeat.
V. And finally the Colossi themselves are challenging fundamentally but to be completely honest half of the "puzzles" involved are completely ridiculous for example:

The Hammer Titan, in order to climb him you have to break his bracelet...a fact it doesnt tell you. In order to do so you must make him strike at you while you stand on a metal disk in an otherwise featureless platform...and the disk is in the ground and very nearly the same color as the platform. You must then get him to strike again, then run up his hammer...however if you are too close it knocks you to the ground, and to far you cant return in time. In both regards preventing you.

In final consideration I give it a 3/10...and thats only because it looks pretty and I didnt buy it so I dont feel like I've been racial slur removed out of 50 bucks.

I haven't played through all of this game, but I really enjoy it. I can't play it for more than an hour or two, but thats ok. Moderation is good. I'm about the 9th or 10th Colossus in the game, and each one gets better. Although they do start to get pretty annoying as I make mistakes.

The major con to this game is the camera. It almost is never in the position I want it, and is annoying to adjust when you are also trying to dodge colossus attacks as well as trying to climb up the colossus.

I give this game 7/10, only because the camera. It kills you from time to time.

ok, this game is beautiful as you said but EMPTY

i completed this game in the space of 8hours first time, 4hours second...thats how simply designed it is

You forgot to mention the 17th collosi on top of the almost-unscalable temple

lizards and hawks are pointless apart from the fact that u can get a 13second ride on a hawk if u jump onto it from your horse

once you complete time attack you get all these cool new features and u think: omg great this will be fun, then u realise...wait...this is pointless ive already completed it easily enough and using this stuff will just slow me down or get me killed (exception to the super sword thing)

WHY CANT HE SWIM!!! hes no athlete as you said but the fact that swimming anywhere takes about 5mins (especially agianst gorilla boss in water)

overall 4/10

I actually like this game it was pretty kool fighting the colossi but like the other posters said most of the content is very empty and some of the boss fights can really be frustrating, I wont get into much detail but the Turtle boss was just too insane!!

I'm not 100% sure but I think this game is like a prologue too Ico that came out for the PS1 (I think its the PS1).

This game is very worthy of a rental game of the top quality. I wish they would have added more too it but then again what else could you add to the game? Replayability is what really ticked me off other than a few bonus items that you can acquire it doesnt really give you anything that would make you play the game again.

I give it a 3/10
