Name: Dunethar (Dune) Acthallion

Race: Human
Class/Profession: Ranger, retired Warder
Bio: An Elven Trained Ranger, he was also brought up by the Warders. Physically adept as well as mentally, he is a skilled warrior, having proved his worth during the Demon War. (See Original Thread for entire story) After the removal of the Demons from the Mortal Plane, he and his Wife, Natalie, returned to their peaceful cabin in the mountains.

Bio: A self-disciplined ranger, she is the wife of Dune. She journeyed with Arothl to his highland home in the south. After the defeat of the goblins she returned alone. Also a hero of the demon wars, she keeps in close contact with Bryne and Vergil.

Race: Human
Class: Warrior/blade dancer/assasin.
Apperance: Dark brown hair, bright green eyes. Curvy figure and pale. If you to see her naked you'd see from the neck down she's covered in scars.

Armor:Gray, soft blue and black leather/cloth armor.

Weapons: Two slim slightly curved knives

Skills: Pretty good with swords and knives.

Perosnality: Serious and a good planner. Tends to be timid, and protective of people she cares about Did not inherit the same power as her half-sister.

Bryne <Insert Vergil's last name here.>
Age 28
Race: Human/werewolf
Class: Ranger
Weapon: A long sword Two daggers, one on her belt, another in her boot. Ebony long bow.
Armor: Chainmail vest, leather shoulders, edged with chainmail black leather boots, and chainmail stockings.

Misc: Light green tunic over brown shirt, dark green pants. several pouches and a back back.

Personality: Fun loving and playful. Tend to be a bit quick tempered. Also Protective

Weapons: Longsword on his left hip, large wooden shield on his left arm, short sword on his back
Sidenote: fraternal twin brother of Laselle

Appearance: blonde hair, dark brown eyes, 6'0", happy, cheerful look, black leather armor, green tunic and grey leggings. silver ring with a blue stone on his right ring finger.
Weapons: two sickles (hand scythes), a double brace of throwing daggers wrapped around his chest

Now I know what you're all thinking. Just read their backstory first, and if you agree with it, then all is well. If anyone doesn't like the idea, just say so, and I can make different people.

Backstory:

Laselle and Cliytoun were two of the four Spellseekers who survived when Rosta led his forces to attack the city of Bynor. By using items of illusion to hide their true race, they, along with Kothkar and Jathen, tracked Arothl and his companions, passing themselves off as mercenaries hired to aid them. Although their true goals were to kill the group for destroying the elven nation of Graphanine, Laselle and Cliytoun both concluded that the humans did not deserve to die. Jathen and Kothkar disagreed, however, and since Jathen was their leader, they attacked the others in the middle of the night. Laselle and Cliytoun, however, betrayed their orders and fought against Jathen and Kothkar. By defending Arothl and the others, they proved their true loyalties, and eventually earned the unsteady trust of the rest of the party.

While Cliytoun tends to be slower to trust people, studying their habits and gauging their true intentions, Laselle is very open and kind, always greeting his comrades with a smile. Since the end of The Demon Wars, the two have traveled on and off with the rest of the members, and currently reside at Fort Bynor, where they are part of the local guard. Although the rest of the original crew knows they wield Spellseeker magic, they keep this fact secret from anyone new they as long as possible.

Character: Samantha =P
Age: 20
Race: Human
Appearance: (I can't find the old bio, so here goes) Blond hair reaching half down her back, blue eyes, calm yet strict features. She also has a nasty burn on her right forearm, the skin turned a reddish-brown. Her left forearm has a long, jagged scar running from the elbow to just below the wrist. Where this injury came from, she has told no one.
Weapons: a rapier, (I told you she would learn!), yet has training in bows, throwing tools, and other one-hand swords as well
Clothing: normally wears a tunic and leggings, when gearing for battle wears hardened leather armor on her chest and legs
Special items: Samantha's rapier has the ability to light on fire when she speaks the word "Ignite." When spoken again, the flames are quelched.

Backstory:

After the Demon Wars were over, Samantha stayed with Mave for a long period of time, living with her and going wherever she went. After around five years had passed, she left with Elaine to travel with her, assisting her in defending people whereever they went. A few years ago, however, Elaine disappeared, leaving Samantha to fend for herself in a land she still barely knew. She has just recently returned to see Mave again, since she has grown a tad tired of advenrturing with no purpose.

OOC: Where is Mave at the moment exactly? There's not really anything describing her location, so I'll check back when I get home to see if I have a chance to post something.

Finally, would anyone mind if I just sort of wrote what happened in the first Baldaris RPT? I need to tie up some loose ends (Samantha especially...) and it would be a lot easier if I could just write in there what happened and how they were stopped.

Just a note, Laselle and Cliytoun's place of residence has been moved from Bynor to Fort Bynor, so no one send a character to the barracks in Bynor to speak with them, 'cause they aren't there :)

Ok folks, the deal with the Dune-Vergil Party is as follows: The group will be fast-forwarded to Varl Vale to avoid road-blockage, then we will begin a journey southward, where we may or may not catch up to Slare's characters. We just don't know yet. So thats the run down so far.

hey guys, its been a long time since i've been on these forums (you may remember me as Ixpitchal, the original Charlym) due to the fact that I had an abrupt cutoff of internet service (moving 3 times didnt help fix that either) :P

so after many long months of living without the net, I see that these forums are all done up differently and theres a dedicated RPT section and everything, very cool

I have dial up now, and was just skimming the new warriors of baldaris story that is starting, as well as the last page or two of the first one

was wondering if anyone could possibly sum up how the first story ended, i saw that the name charlym is still being used and am wondering what part he ended up playing after i dissapeared off the face of the planet :)

a quick summation of where this new story is leading so far would be cool too, dunno if i'll be posting yet, as i still dont get online very much, but i'm interested to know how things have developed.

Well, as you probably noticed, both threads have kind of faded away (my last post here was 3-9-06, so about half a year). Its due mostly to a lack of Korkskrew (Who has also dissapeared from the planet *wonders about his lost ninja buddy*) and a lack of Soria in this particular section. Soria still frequents, just not here.

As for me, getting involved in school stuff takes a huge chunk out of home time. Between sports and other junk, i just havent had a lot of time. This is one of the rare occaisions i happened to go, "Hey, i found spare time!" and used it to catch up again (i have had an unusual spot of free-time this week, mostly due to illness).

The new story never really got along very well, i think we were just getting into a new adventure when people started losing interest. The original (and still most succesful mind you) just kind of slipped away. a couple of my characters were in some highlands, Dune was with his elven teachers i think, and i can't quite remember the others.
(and yes, I did miss you :) )
