I was at Best Buy yesterday with a bud and saw this guitar game hooked up on the big TV, so I go on over and try it out.

I was sold instantly.

This is a great game that runs along the type of games such as DDR, interaction based on something besides a controller. The controller is a guitar, I have added pics at the end if you are curious. Basically there are 5 freight buttons you can push down and then you strum the main bar on the bottom, as if they were strings. So the song you are playing goes, and these little circles come at you and lets say its a red circle, well then you push and hold down the red button and strum when it gets to the bottom, thus playing the note. My favorite part about this is the whammy bar, that works. If you are holding out a long note, start flickin around the whammy bar and get that extra kick from your note.

Oh and the music selection is pretty cool. A few songs I was thinkin "Eh, could have used without" but overall, many good songs, such as More Than a Feeling by Boston, Texas Flood by the great Stevie Ray Vaughn, they have Ironman by Black Sabbath, and if you want a full list of songs throw me a PM and I will let you know, I don't want to cludder this thread with all the songs. I am not sure exactly how many are in the game, at the least there are 30.

Here are the pictures:
This is the guitar itself, those stickers on it came in the box and are used to customize your guitar. I put them on because one, I liked them hehe, and two, many of my friends are getting this game, so when we all play it will be easier to tell which guitar is whose.

Overall, I give it a 9/10, just because of the song choices weren't my favorite.
