Does anybody have an addiction to Counter-Stike cause i do its so fun so I just want to say for all u guys who like perfect dark counter-strike is just as good just for the computer.

I agree on that
it doesnt make sense to me that you can shoot perfectly accurate with the awp while standing but not with the scout while kneeling in 1.6

My apologies, but i kinda get pissed when i have a perfect head shot with... any gun from the side, and it doesnt count since steam was stupid enough to not completely consider damage zones.

in fact the shot went through the head,(on the side, basically ear to ear shot) and the guy turned around and shot me 1 time in the head with his AK, killing me with 109 damadge, regardless of that helmet i was wearing.

no he wasnt hacking, i killed him a few times before when he popped out of a vent.

actually i shot a guy like ten times with colt and he aint die he turned around with pistol and got a frikin hedshot i didnt care tho cause i love counterstrike

I used to play Counterstrike avidly, but that was before 1.6, and before CS:S.

About the awp.. the weapon itself is extremely accurate, in that wherever the crosshairs meet in your scope, thats where the bullet is going to land. but translating that to the game without adding in arm movements due to the weight of the rifle, you get the crazily overpowered oneshot machine it is.

Also of note, kneeling and taking precise shots with a colt in CS;source will make you miss every time, even though the real weapon is touted as one of the best assault rifles in the world.

Grievances aside, I personally think CS has gone the way of Quake, it still has its fanbase, but has fallen out of the limelight.
