So, I have been playing NHL 2k6 since the release of the xbox360 and i was curious if anyone else was dissapointed and frustrated like i am. I was on live the other day and actually played a game where the score was 20-14. Even when playing offline the computer can still put up crazy numbers. Now i understand I'm not that good at the defense aspect of the game yet, and I say yet cause I am now learning to adjust to the "I can score from here anytime spots" but if the gameplay of 2k series is going down i want to know so i can avoid playing them ever again. I dont play any other series of 2k anymore since EA took over the NFL rights.

Seriously dont make the goalies turd burglars. Crease Control is worthless if the goalie cant make the correct save when you click on the bullseye. Take some pages from Fifa or something cause their goalies make crazy ass saves when they shouldnt. In hockey i shouldnt take a clear shot from the blue line and make it 95% of the time cause of my position. I have heard the EA hockey is somewhat the same any reports on this?
Also, Hitting should be more effective, i noticed that at time when a player just misses the puck carrier the carrier goes like nothing happened. This isnt so, if the player is remotley close 90% of the time the carrier is slowed down. Even from a little impact. Sure the Big hits shouldnt be as common but simple board checking should be worked on. Penalties should be set with the Idea that the NHL wants: Hooks, interferance, spearing should all be called sure occasionally they will slip by but it shouldnt be 9 spears slip by and 1 gets called it should be reversed. Now i know you can change all these things in the menu for offline play but what use is that, If i do that and switch to online play I get blown out. Now if i lose every game i ever play online playing real hockey im perfectly fine with that cause i suck and thats ok but losing a game because its more like Wayne Grets Hockey on n64 is just silly. If i wanted to play that i would go and play that not a "real Hockey" game. Even with the sim mode in settings the game is still BS. And one last thing for now, The whole cutting across the goal and scoring easily thing. I have alot of people complain about that and how it should be fixed, I say yes and no. Yes because its way to easy to do and you really never miss and no cause if you do that in the nhl you are prolly gonna score. but the goalie should try to poke check the puck away if there is no defender there witch he doesnt always do so i see the cheapness of it. But shooting from the top of the circle and aiming for the top glove side everytime and making it everytime is just obsurd. Hockey games need a overhaul and if they wanna hire me to help out ill do it for free copy of the game.
