Let me start by saying that I LOVE WW2 shooters. I still play DOD, and BF 1942. I have played Call of Duty 1&2 so many times through single player, I know every spawn of every bad guy. That being said, on to the review.

While I do like the squad control concept, they make the guns to horribly inaccurate, and do so little damage that basically every single kill goes like this:
1) Order troops to your location
2) Order covering fire
3) Solo flank the bad guy
4) Get into melee range and shoot him.
5) Rinse and repeat.

The guns can’t hit or kill from more than 3.2 feet away from the bad guy, and don’t get me started about grenades. There was a guy hiding behind a fence gate. The gate consisted of three horizontal boards, with a 2 foot gap between them. I dropped a grenade directly in front of the guy…but on the other side of the gate. Not only did it not damage him, he was didn’t even flinch when it went off.

If I had had 10 minutes of game play there is no freakin way that I would have paid $5 for that game, much less the $49 that I did pay for it. However, if they took the squad commands from this game and added it to COD, or even DOD I would never play another game again.

Ohh, or a grenade almost kills you from a hundred feet of open ground, but should it be 3" away with a carefully positioned fence post between you and it, it will not even disorient you.
