Download CoH patch through a web?

I quit CoH more than 1 year ago and I was thinking I should try the game. I really miss playing my super-hero and I want to try the new changes. I was shocked that I have to download 1GB through the patcher. The problem is, I can't use the patcher to download all that since I am in a network and that would hurt the network real hard. I could, however, download via Socks proxy that should link me to a Satelite connection instead of using the DSL connection everyone's using in my network. I have no problems downloading via eMule or the Web since I can force the downloads to go through Socks4 proxy setting. But I don't knoiw how to do that with CoH patcher?

Anyone can help me and direct me to a URL where I can download and install CoH patch? or teach me a way to force the patch to use my proxy instead of directly downloading from the DSL?

Unfortunately there is no other alternate way to get the patches (unless some one personally keeps an archive or something) like there are for some few other MMOs I played.

You do can get your hands on a CoV CD, you don’t even need to get CoV, but if you get the CD and install from there you will alleviate a big chunk of that download (not all though, the CD does not include the added hero only zones as far as I know).

i asked about that for COV. the tech support said only chance would be to take your game to a friends and DL it.
