I just saw the 35 minute Spore presentation (
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8372603330420559198&q=spore). It looks so cool, it has everything!

Spoiler alert (watching the presentation has some really cool suprises)...










They programed in the social interactions, everything you do to your race effects it's behavior. Every twist in its spine effects it's movements. The fact that it downloads content from other players to create an ecosystem. And best of all - in the end you can make the startrek races and just watch the universe play itself out (or alternatively you can ake an asimovian empire). I need to get this game.

looks like a rip-offf of an evolution game that got put out for the sega dreamcast a few years ago

well... not really, didnt the dreamcast one just take place in an aquarium?

they took it to the universal level and are allowing combination at the first level.

im going to find the most kick ass bacteria in the game and make it my toe. that way i have the most kick ass toe in the game!

I'd rather play Satan, and that's what I'm going to do.

To bad it doesn't release until 2007. I hope they will at least be sacrificing Time for Gameplay.

A rip off? Ha. No, this isn't a rip off. This will probably be one of the best god games ever released, this is NOT a rip off.

haha a rip off.... dreamcast was so much smaller than this its not funny, hell, id say that the DC one is a rip off of this if that was logically possible.

Dreamcast is crap, it was a one off spin and nobody really took notice of it. Boo.

thats also a kind of stupid position to take -_-

the dreamcast was pretty good back in its day, of course anything that ran 3D was good back then, and it had some good games on it.

for gods sake, i used to own one.

the point im trying to make is that back THEN it was good, sure playstation had graphics, but dreamcast had some amazing games, powerstone, panzer dragoon, the online one...

dammit, at least realize that each console had its own games that made it worth buying.
