I've succumb, once again, to Everquest.

There's only one thing I'm really worried about. The last time I tried coming back, I found the world to be relatively barren with no one to group with. That's no fun! In a game like EQ where there's so many fun personalities and such, I don't wanna have to solo until I actually find people.

So my question is this: are there still people who play the lower level content? Will I be able to find groups and such without having to worry about sitting around with an 'LFG' tag for two hours? Pleeeeaaaaase tell me I'll find some interaction :)

Thanks in advance.

Check out the Progression Server, The Combine, when it actually hits. It will be a fresh new server, with unlocking expansions based on key events in the game. Basically plays through the game from day one again.

That sounds great. It's a shame the subscription price isn't the same as day 1; it's not worth it to me. I'd be all over it if I still had my station pass (which I no longer have due to monetary concerns... and netflix).

I'd love to play on that server, though. Theoretically. It'd be kind of odd not starting as an iksar, but trolls work for me.

I predict that the Combine server will fill to capacity with nostalgia buffs longing for the "good old days" within 10 minutes of going live. As for low end content and finding groups on the other servers? I wish you the best of luck, but even when I left the game (the day WoW came out... so 2004), low level groups (pre 60 pretty much) were nigh impossible to find unless you have friends that you play with.

No such thing as a low level group, monster missions were a way to level up partially, but since they balanced the reward vs difficulty, not many do them anymore.
