Hey yall, I have been playing WoW for over a year...maybe round a year and a half or so, anyways, my first character I made was my Orc Hunter, Dooma, I played him a lot then up around level 48 I got bored of him, stopped playing WoW all together for a time, then me and my RL friends made some new characters, I got my warrior to 36, then everyone got bored of their characters, I got bored of mine, and yes, another break.

Then recently I came back to my hunter, he is currently 56, I made a Shaman and he is level 25 and I have a lot of fun with him, with 1.11 coming out today, I want to play my hunter, and finally get him to 60...but there is just no motivation...I have good gear, fun in PvP, but just getting those last four levels seems like such a chore...anyone have any advice on what I should do to make myself want to play him more? I just find it hard to want to.

Hm... Playing with others is a good way of getting to lvl 60. With friends that is, people you like. Talking and having fun makes lvling less of a chore. :)

Also, giving yourself challenges makes it more fun. You're a hunter. Try kiting Azuregos to Orgrimmar! :p

Make sure you have fun as well inbetween all the questing, get to know your character really well, and you'll be inseparable. Instancing is also a nice way of getting xp. Especially with rested. Take breaks if you loose your motivation easily, get to an inn and log on the next day to lots of yummy rested. Then go to strat/scholo and get 640 xp per kill. :D (Getting AD rep too, which is a good idea with Naxx coming in the 1.11 patch.)

I remember my last couple levels were tough. I just bit the bullet and grinded the humanoids in Silithus. Good exp, coin and cloth drops, drop food and water, greens, sometimes a piece that goes with two others to summon some boss guys in Silithus, and half of them are casters (really easy to kill for hunter), and the other are warriors. The Twilight camps are camped quite a bit, but it depends on the server, but there are like 4 or 5 of em so you should be able to get em. Good luck, it's worth it at 60 for the PvP :)

I dunno, man.. I was a level 60 priest decked out in purples from ony, MC, and BWL, and in line for stuff from AQ40.. I still found reasons to go out and do 5 mans. Twinking out friends alts, helping friends with quests.. whatever. Plenty of good reasons abound.

So if you've got friends, and your gear is fine, find out what they need, and help them out. They'll appreciate the help, and you'll get to 60. Of course, I was helped by the fact that I could goof of and talk to my friends while we were playing via our guild's ventrillo server.. so in that vein, download teamspeak server if you have anywhere nearing a decent computer (it doesn't take up much system resources at all) and chat with your friends while you XP).
