Click is the semi-outrageous story of a man who goes into Bed, Bath & Beyond to buy a universal remote and ends up with a remote that controls time. I of course assume you know this because of the ads that play every five minuites on basically all broadcasting stations.
While Click is a very funny, like many of Sandler's it also has a sort of sad story toward the end with funny dialog and actions throw in to lighten the overall mood. Some of Sandler's actions may not make sense (at least to me) such as why he doesn't just pause time to get work done rather than just zap to the future and not know what has happened in the time he was on "auto-pilot".
Overall Click is pretty dang funny but by no means an epic comedic masterpiece that Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison are. I highly reccommend it if you have nothing better to do and just want a good popcorn movie.

I'm really looking forward to this movie, when it arrives here in Norway. When I saw the trailer, I immediately recognized this gizmo from my dreams. I've always been fantazising about something would let me pause time. I've always wanted to pause time, go to a certain political person, and slap him in the face. Then escape unnoticed.

Okay, I just have to say that this is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I have to give it a big WOW, OMGosh, this was a great film. It had everything!!!!!!!!! Except blood, guts and gore it didn't have that, although it did have some ew....hehe
I recommend it.....and grab napkins at the snack counter, the popcorn is kinda greasy.
i plan to see that movie some time soon

Hope it's ok to comment on this even though the thread is old. Guess it's not that old since it is a summer movie. I just got to see the movie today and it will probably be in theatres a while longer.
I found it funny and yet predictable. Keel is right about it being a good popcorn flick. I found myself crying near the end though so it's not all laughs and has a somewhat serious message. It's been compared to a lot of other stories and I think it's a tale that many have fantasized about. Who hasn't wanted a remote to mute someone or fast forward thru something boring? I went into it not expecting a huge laugh and was pleasantly surprised. It was a good time and I enjoyed it! :)
Spoiler below:
Anyone else agree that he should have just paused things instead of fast forwarding thru work deadlines and things like that? That would have made more sense I think. I'd love to pause while I'm sick and just sleep for a few days. There's so much fun and mischief to be had with the pause button besides slapping Hasslehoff and kicking that hobbitt in the nuts. hehehehe :)

I had just seen this flick 2 days ago, and I'm probally going to go see it again.
This movie, simply put, is awesome. The acting left a bit to be desired, but I've always been entertained by the story, not the acting.. Unless of course the acting is 'Sister, Sister' quality. The movie is fairly hilarious, like someone said before me, not Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore hilarious. But the story and the message is 5 stars.
Too be honest, I was bawling pretty hardcore during this movie.
It is a must see!

I found this movie quite good. The story is extremely intriguing - I've always wanted a device like that - and the main character did pretty much everything I would have tried if I had it (okay, not everything, but that wouldn't look very well on screen). I've never really liked Adam Sandler, but he did a good job here. I really think they managed to tell a funny story in a very interesting way, and they didn't take any shortcuts on the way. It felt really well-made, despite the film not being very serious at all.
