Is the Progressions Server worth dropping WoW and moving back...I am seriously thinking about it, I had 4 charcters who has conquered the game over all the way through Anguish before I quit...Is the progressions server worth going back to? And frankly how far behind will I be? How crowded is it...and do I need to invest in Prophocies of Ro for any Reason if I am just coming back to Progressions? or is it okay to wait? I have a pretty good feel on the type of character I want to play...Please give me some Feed Back :)

Patching Everquest...this is only gonna take a few hundred years...But a friend never cancelled his acount (wish I had that kind of money) and has given me permission to log on and see what this server is all about...hey, I may be playing soon, I miss EQ sooo much!!

You can wait on PoR. And if you log into your old account you'll be granted 30 days free of playtime, so you can mess around on your old character as well as try out the progression servers.

Progression isn't worth it, first week was great but beyond that nothing special now the hardcore have pulled away.

However I still like my main, and soon the level cap goes up, so I will keep playing to 75!

I have been waiting for an E-mail with a 30 day free playtime offer since I have never unsubscribed to the SOE mailer. Its been about 9 months since I last got a 'come back and play free' offer.

Do you mean I just need to log in and it will give me free time? I'm not positive but I think I did log in to the account management page soon after the progression servers went live and I didn't see any offers like this.

You just log into the game, it gives you 30 days.

And the progression server is only not worth it if you mistakenly think it's a Classic server. Although, to be fair, their intentional delaying of Kunark after saying they wouldn't do that kind of thing is incrediably annoying given how crowded everything remotely worthwhile is.
