I did not write this story, my ex actually wrote it. And it goes along with this comic. A couple of my characters are in the story though - Soraia and Sasori.

-This story takes place about 15 years ago in the dark city of Neriak, when Nekrad was still a young one. His brother is Jadael and sister is Sasori, all children of Darkenn and Soraia. Evileene is a close friend of the family. Nekrad was notorious for his cravings of cookies, and so the story goes...-

Jadael and Nekrad bustled about the empty kitchen, trying to hide their chuckles of glee. Pots and pans had been stacked pell-mell about the kitchen as the two children tried to decide what to use.
\"Dese are gonna be the bestest cookies ever!\" Jadael exclaimed as they got the biggest bowl they could find levered up onto the counter. \"Now we just need the bestest stuff ta go into da cookies...\"
Nekrad thought about it really hard for a while and then jumped up and down excitedly. \"Oh oh oh! I cun summon some water ta use ta mix stuff! We need dat for makin\' cookies, huh?\"
\"Yeah! Sasori\'s always mixin\' stuff up! I\'ll go get us some stuffs ta mix up with dat water!\" Jadael ran through the kitchen hunting for cookie ingredients, but nothing really looked like it would form cookies if it was mixed up with water. They needed some of that white powdery stuff, some eggs, some sweet stuff...
\"We don have anyting here dat looks like cookies!\" Jadael cried as he finished searching. \"Mebey dere\'s someting in Daddy\'s lab...\" He ran off towards his dad\'s lab where he found a whole jar filled with white powder. \"Hmm, sumbody putted the cookie mix in daddy\'s Embalming Dust jar...\" He shrugged and ran back to the kitchen where Nekrad was surrounded by stacks and stacks of summoned water.
\"Lookit all da water I gots!\" he gestured around him.
\"I got the white powdery cookie stuff! It was over in Daddy\'s lab, silly place to put it.\" Jadael dumped the jar into the giant bowl and then started hunting for the other ingredients. \"Oh! Sweet stuff!\"
The two boys thought and thought until their heads started hurting. Then as one they cried out, \"Candied Spiders!!\" They laughed and dug out the rest of the treats they had been given and tossed them in the bowl.
\"Hmm, you think dese froglok eggs will work?\" Jadael asked.
Nekrad nodded sagely and replied, \"Why naut?\"
They mashed up the soft-shelled eggs in the mix in the bowl and stood back. \"Umm, do we need to mash \'em up into little cookies and put dem on a big plate?\"
Again, they thought about it a bit and then both grinned mischieviously. \"Lets make one BIIIIG cookie! Dis will be da biggest, bestest cookie anyone ever made.\"
\"Ok!\" The two struggled with the bowl, spilling the chunky mixture all over themselves and the floor of the kitchen until they managed to wrestle it into the oven.
\"Hey, Jadael, dere isn\'t any fire in dere. Hows da cookie gonna get cooked?\"
Jadael just smiled and rolled up his sleeves. Magical energies swirled around him and filled the kitchen with hot sparks. At the end of the incantation a fire ball burst from his hands and flew into the oven. The bowl, the \"cookie\" mix, the oven, the back wall of the kitchen, all blew up in a most spectacularly firey manner.
From across the room, Jadael and Nekrad picked themselves up and started wiping burned bits of Candied Spiders off their faces. \"Mebey dey don\'t work wit summoned waters?\"
\"Mebey..\"
Evileene walked into the kitchen looking for Sasori, and stopped dead at the incredible mess that greeted her. Her jaw slack with shock, she stared wideeyed at the disaster, slowly turning to take it all in, her eyes finally landing on the two boys in the middle of it all. Her eyes narrowed at them and she placed both hands on her hips. Seeing the obvious anger on their godmother\'s face, the boys looked a bit nervous.
\"Nekrad, Jadael! What did you do?!\" she demanded.
They stuttered something about making cookies, but she silenced them with a look. \"Your poor sister is going to be livid when she sees this kitchen. She works hard, boys..and now you are going to. I want you to clean this place top to bottom for Sasori.\" Evil looked around at the chaos and sighed again. This was going to take forever to clean...twas a good thing that the little ones had so much energy...they\'d need it. Wiping off a chair as much as she could, she sat down to supervise. \"Alright boys, start cleaning.\" She smiled behind the cover of her hand. They really looked quite ridiculous, dripping with bits of candied spider and whatever else had been in the mixture they had exploded. Seeing their mutinous faces, she stood and waved her hands a bit, muttering an incantation, and a large skeleton appeared. She set him to guard the doorway and settled back down into her chair with a book and a small bag of cookies, happily munching away as she read, occasionally looking up at the sullen boys with laughter dancing in her eyes. Perhaps if they were able to clean this up, the whole incident could be their little secret...and maybe they could have a few of her own cookie stash...
Nekkie was frowning the whole time. \'How come it didn\'t work....\' he kept thinking. \'I KNOW!!! JADAEL\'S FAULT!!. He use da wrong spell!!! Hmph... now I gots to clean dis mess up.... nau fair!\'
Nekkie turned to Jadael and said to him, \'Jadael, dis naut fair. You blow up stuff n I gots to clean it wif u...\'
Jadael bristled. \"Huh? Yer da one you used da stupid summoned water. I bet dat\'s why it blew up like dat.\"
He stopped as their god mother cleared her throat and glared at them. Quickly they went back to their scrubbing, casting furtive, angry glances at the skeleton guarding the door.
\"It wuz yer fault, Nekkie,\" Jadael whispered and tossed a small spark of lightning at his brother\'s rear, hopefully where Evileene wouldn\'t see it.
\'ACK!\' Nekkie thought to himself after his brother burnt his rear end. \'I\'m gunna git him!.... but god mommy is here... Hmmm.\' he thought as he was scrubbing the floors. \'I know!!! Mes gunna blind him!! kekeke. Jus gotta wait till god mommy naut lookin.\'
When his back was turned to Evileene, Nekkie quickly whispered the magic words necessary to blind his brother, then shot off the spell. \'Les see how u like dat!!\' he thought.
Evil\'s keen ears caught the incantation that Nekrad had murmured, and she stifled a grin. The two scamps were going to keep fighting all day and never get anything done...\"Boys!\" she shouted, forcing an angry tone into her voice. \"Enough! Jadael, I saw what you just did to your brother, and Nekrad...he is going to just stumble about and create more of a mess...which YOU will clean up. And I was going to try to gedt the oven fixed and replce Sasori\'s mixing bowl, but perhaps I should tell your parents instead, hmm?\" Her speech was punctuated by the sound of Jadael slipping blindly on the gooey mess on the floor, and knocking over another container of milk...Excusing herself for a moment, she stepped outside, past their hearing, and broke down into peals of laughter, til tears streamed down her face. Her pet remained guarding the door, so neither boy could escape.
\"Waaaaaa!\" he cried as he slipped on something squishy and went sprawling on the floor. \"I can\'t SEEEEEEEEE!\"
He stumbled to his feet, managing to knock over one of the stacks of pots they had piled up earlier. The whole thing fell with a clatter loud enough to wake the dead, metal pots and pans clanging all over the place.
Finally, Jadael remembered something and cast a spell on himself to remove the magical effects on him. His vision restored, he looked around and started giggling. The giggles turned to laughter, the laughter to great guffaws.
\"Oh! Oh, Nekkie! Ah ha ha ha! Dis is soooo funny. Lookit all da mess we made!\"
Nekkie joins the laughter as the boys could never really be mad at each other. \'Bwudder, mes sowwie. Les work togefer ok? We cween dis up and..\' Stops talking and walks up to his brother to whisper, \'and we do it again!!! we fix wut we did and make the bestest coooOOOOoookie!!!\'
The two brothers then got back to work and cleaned up their mess and left the kitchen with Evileene\'s approval.
Sasori skips through the halls and toward her kitchen just coming back from getting more halfling meat from Soraia. She noticed the skeleton, but paid no real attention to it and set the bundle on the kitchen table.
Wow, she thought, the kitchen looks really nice, I wonder who cleaned it...
Evil had made it nearly all the way home before remember her skeleton guard. \"Vith,\" she muttered to herself, \"I cannaut leave him there...\" Turning around, she walked back to Sasori\'s kitchen. Turning the corner, she saw Sasori and quickly ducked back behind the corner. Muttering a few words under her breath, she watched as the skeleton simply turned to dust, and slipped quietly away, smiling.
