I can't remember the name of the game, but I remember almost every other aspect and need some help. The game was a medieval side scrolling, 3/4 view action/PRG. You could choose from 3 different hereo's: a dwarf, a female human, and a male human. Each used a different weapon, had a different play style (slower moving heavy hitter, or faster but weaker hitter). Magic was involved using blue vials tossed into the air to create area of effect damage to the enemies. You would also ride on these dragon-type critters of which (if I recall correctly) had 3 different variations... Anyone remember what the hell that game was called?!

Genesis. I have that game on a special 6pack cartrage, I think I might play it now.

I played the hell out of that game back when it was in the arcades... never tried the console version of it. Rastan was another good 2d side scroller fantasy game.

Genesis, though the console version didn't hold a candle to the arcade version.

I have a sega genesis. We got it after my neighbors threw it out. That was about 1 year before the game boy color came out.

Anybody ever tried Norse by Norsewest? It's hilarious.

I loved the Lost Vikings games.

Have another one for you guys. It was a classic Nintendo game and I can't remember much about it. It was an action RPG side scroller. You choose your character from a family (mom, dad, sister, brother, and the pet) and could return to the home to pick another character at almost any time. I remember being able to purchase new items. Each character has a unique pklay style.

Edit: Ah-hah! It was Legacy of the Wizard!
