I wanted to start a thread where people could express what they are expecting from Vanguard (when released) by Sigil, maybe what you would like to see or hope to see...just whatever really.

I am an original EQ player, I played for years, untill DoD was end game. When this happened I decided I would go with a friend and check out what WoW was all about, I left EQ for about 2 months, didn't like WoW and went back to EQ...when I got back I was so insanly far behind everyone else I had known in the game that I was stuck.

From Vanguard and the Sigil team I would like to see that good ol' Everquest Feel with some new graphics and a reduction in the player gaps. Anyone else?

I've found the gap between players in EQ to be an issue too, I still play, but am raiding content a good three expansions behind which is frustrating.

Though I tried the progression server and it was fantastic, just like original EQ but with some new tools and features they've added over the years. This is what I'm expecting from Vanguard.

That great experience of grouping, dungeon crawling, traveling old skool, and a good immersive world, but with features and tools that make it more fun and less tedious.
