So, i was browsing threw my PC's software and came Across SWG. booted it up and decided to try it once more, crashed in the tutorial and decided it was time to delete it. Open up the start menu, cant find a quick uninstall, run Windows "add or remove programs" and try removing it there, however the "Change/Remove" button does nothing and there dosent seem to actually be an uninstall program at all for SWG in the folder. figured it was a bug, searched google, found nothing but negative reviews... so i came here, can anyone at all help me to remove this game that is broken even outside of its own self?

also, this isnt a post to bash SOE. (altho i dont agree with them anymore and the poor things they have done to SWG.)

thanks~

Delete the folder and start menu enteries. Most MMORPGs make little/no use of the registery and don't really need an uninstall. Although theres certainly no harm in it, but it's entirely possible to just download SWG or any other SOE game without running an installer for it and ergo no uinstaller either.

Mine uninstalled fine, on the four or so occassion I did it. Just delete though like DemonMage said, if you type regedit in the run command on the start menu you can search the registry for likely entries too, Galaxies is probably a word worth searching for. Shouldn't take too long to clean it out.

1) sorry for posting in wrong folder?

2) thanks for the advice, i did the regedit and the hard delete, seems to have cleaned it out quite nicely.
