Ahh...nothing like sitting through literature classes to get you in the mood to doodle. Backstory: I had a dream last night. A wierd dream. A disturbing dream. And a dark dream. I thought to myself: What if Red Riding Hood didn't actually have her grandma eaten, and wasn't actually saved by the woodcutter? What if she offed both grammy and the wolf, then just made the whole fairy tale up? Combined with a pencil, a piece of paper, boring classes, and a half-hour on photoshop, this is what happened:

Please do critique, but since I prefer to color by hand please don't complain if I photoshopped badly.

Yeah, nightmares are better subject material than dreams. I was also thinking of doing one about the Tin Woodsman of Oz. I mean, he has an axe, and he wants a heart, and, well, DOROTHY AND THE LION ARE RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. Doesn't that INSINUATE anything?

She's a woman, women have boobs (Note: She's also a woman because I don't think a little girl could swing and axe). You'd be surprised at how tame I am when compared to my colleagues (one has asked me on numerous occasions if I could draw hentai for him. Of course I said no.) I draw what I want to draw, not what I lust for. I'm about halfway through the Tin Woodsman, and to avoid any offense I made his sheet-of-metal-plating-chest as FLAT as could be. (Note: not intended to flame at all, just make a point which I've argued to a number of people of whom you have too much of an intellectual advantage over to emulate. please please please PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ don't kill me.)

Good for you standing up for your ethics as an aritst! Well done. Very proud. There's nothing wrong with drawing in a way that is anotomically correct. (LOL. I can't think those words without seeing Poison Ivy in the back of my head purring at Robin about his "Anotomically Correct rubber suit." Bad me. Bad.) And good for you for not drawing Hentai. There's enough porn in this world without you having to draw it.
