My PS2 is having read disc errors, works fine with everything else. the Disc worked fine at the store ( I had already returned the game once.) What can I do?

Not a clue.
It's possible that there's a weird incompatibility. I think the OS gets upgraded periodically on the new factory models. It's not something that would get patched on older machines, but I think small "improvements" are made and put onto the newer machines that are released and it's possible that something like that explains why your own machine doesn't like a disc that will run on other machines.
My brother had something similar happen with X-Men Legends 2 on the X-Box. Ran fine on my machine, froze during the last chapter on his.

i had this trouble with god of war, how i fixed it was taking the playstation apart and cleaning off the little reader thing, it worked fine but my PS2 is like generation 1 so its still buggy on the very new stuff. Depending on your PS2 id either take it apart and clean the little reader thing or just get a new updated version which sucks cause there like 130 dollars

id say try cleaning it.
get a cleaning CD and go from there. hopefuly that will work.
you can also try calling sony's customer service or tech support if your brave lol.

hmmmm...Soria tearing apart her PS2..... the poor thing would never be the same again.
But I do agree try useing a cd cleaner first then tech support, and when that fails ( this IS sony we're talking about) then go to a technition, best buy or compUSA MIGHT repair it. not to sure thou.
