Didn't see that anyone reviewed it yet, so I will.
I bought this at the same time I bought the Platinum Edition of Scarface DVD with enhanced sound and picture, and I have to say I am pleased with both my purchases, now onto the actual review.
The game takes a "what if" situation, what if at the end Tony survived the attack on his mansion, everything was taken from him, so you have to rebuild your empire from the ground up again and take revenge. But first you have to get the money, then you get the power, then you get the revenge. The game plays like most other 3rd person urban setting shooters, with differences here and there. One thing I like is that there is actual penalty for killing a police officer. When a gang fight has begun and you are in the middle of it, you better make damn sure you know where you are aiming, pop a cop and you will be dead in no time. Also, the fact that you can call a driver to bring your car to you instead of having to hijack cars every two seconds is a plus. It gives you more of a "I am doing this illegal activity without anyone knowing" sort of feeling. Same thing when you buy boats.
Now obviously you follow to story to get your revenge, but I have had a lot of fun making drug deals, because each one is totally different. For example, I was making a very big deal, I gave him the money up front and he told me where to pick up the goods, I went to the pick up spot and it was actually an ambush. Then again, I have been in the same situation in which I went to pick up the goods, and it was what I paid for. After you gain more reputation, you can buy henchmen, drivers, enforcers, assassins, and a weapons dealer, then you can take the role of one of them, except the weapons dealer, and do missions for Tony in their shoes. For example, as a driver you go to a contact who has a tip on a really hot car, pick it up and take it back to a chop shop trying to get as little damage as possible for a big payout.
The targeting and combat system is one I have used before and I like, you target the enemy and then can move the crosshair around to shoot a specific body part. Another cool feature in combat is the Blind Rage mode, in which you take a first person perspective, have unlimited ammo and are invincible to damage, and every kill you make gives you health, Blind Rage lasts for ten seconds. The way you build up the ability to do Blind Rage is by getting "Balls" yes, "Balls". If you shoot an enemy in the head for example, you would get more than if you just shot them in the foot, or if you dismembered them. You also have a taunt button which you can push as an enemy is falling and get balls that way. Those of you who know of the movie can imagine the things said with the taunt button.
Overall I find the game very enjoyable. Any questions please ask, I will surely answer them. I give the game an 8/10.
