I started watching this over the weekend. It's enjoyable. I've watch the first five episodes and I could walk away happy. I expected to be drawn in more and hooked.

I think the graphics are where they are intended to be, but it's not quite my taste. I thoroughly enjoyed "300" and "Sin City" but some of the graphics in "Sparticus" are more of a distraction to me. I find it difficult to enjoy the imagry during the blood splattering as I don't quite appreciate the graphic artistry. The rest of the imagry is great, though.

I would still suggest folks give it a go. It has some great aspects to it. I just don't know if I'll even finish the first season.

I read somewhere that they were thinking of doing a prequell while the main character recovers.

I also enjoyed the series. My favorite episode was when Spartacus and what's his name killed the famous gladiator. I walked away from that one with chills.

I watched Spartacus' whole season. I won't spoil, but there is going to be some awesome action scenes. Dare I say 'Shakesprearinesque'. (rofl)

There were times when the blood and the pr0n were a distracting factor for me, but overall, an awesome series I.M.O.
