Nah, no race changes. Although when we complete the epic quest chain "Old Allies" a new race will be introduced you can reroll too. Just assume that you did quests and ground mobs until you caught up or that there's a mentor system that allows new rerolls to play alongside until they are caught up. Not worrying about junk like actually roleplaying grinding mobs out

If you mean switch to demon or elf side, they are our enemies! If you want to join them that makes you a traitor! <gets out the witch burning kit>

Nah...I just don't like being forced to be a human :P. oh! Do we get a demon race on our side? xD

Nah, Humans Elves and Sune (which are descendants of demons) are the three player sides. The three are at war and the goal of the PvP part of the game is to invade the enemies lands and capture their home city to kill the king.
On the Noob Island where we are at it's a smaller version of the real campaign with the ruined fortress on the center island, shown on the map in the first post. There's also territory covering about a third of each sides island that can be conquered with watchtowers, fortified villages and resource nodes to capture and hold for realm honor, "phat lewtz", Exp, and fun.
For the PvE side there is a campaign to put down rebels and force the island to accept the rule of the Empire in addition to the Old Allies campaign.

So what's everyone's opinion on how this is working so far? I wanted to try a simple quest first before we started on one of the three campaigns. And I don't know if we should form a guild or join a bigger one, bigger guild would let us fill in group spots with NPCs easier.

I actually perfer how this is going and I also like the idea of forming our own guild. Joining a bigger guild does have its advantages but I would like to really explore this game on my own.

I wanna be a demon descendant! D8. Can't we have our own demons? Maybe a race of demons that secretly alligned with angels :P

Hey dark, we were playing you as though you were there healing and such. Otherwise my getting tripped by the wolves during the fight would have been a wipe :O
And a Black Priest is a Tank/Healer hybrid that uses a 2handed sword.

Edit: The caster/healer hybrid is the Sune Blood Apostle. You were probably thinking that. The Sune are more magically inclined than the other races mostly because their gods weren't the ones getting beaten up during the Godfall.

pssssh. My broadsword is a fire blade with fireball capabilities :P
