I tried to avoid another Starcraft II comic. I looked for news all over expecting to find something worth illustrating. But nothing stuck. I'd given up, turned off my computer and was fixing to walk off to bed when the idea hit me. It might not be that funny to some of you, and I admit to probably suffering from exhaustion and/or sleep deprivation, but, I almost hyperventilated trying the stifle my own laughter (so as not to wake up Taks). I so rarely laugh at my own jokes/comics that I knew this one had to be done whether it was the result of being tired or not.

Now, another reason this idea probably amused me far more than it should is that I was a pizza delivery guy in college. And, even when I was early with the delivery I still heard similar comments. Until the day pizzas magically appear in a customers hand the second they hang up the phone delivery will NEVER be quick enough.

For those of you that are curious and can appreciate the irony... the pizza shop is named "Speedy's" (hence the lighning bolt behind the pizza slice).

I think I feel that way for ANY delivery involving food. It's especially worst when you're at work, starving, and want to take a break but have to wait =)

Hehe, I know the feeling. I was endlessly amused by all things "You are not prepared!!!" after seeing the Burning Crusade trailer for the first time. Even more so after the WoW christmas special.

I get the feeling there's going to be no stopping the starcraft hype. And I used to deliver pizzas in college, too. I used to sweat a lot, so people didn't question the kind of hell I went through to get them their food. They just handed over the money and called it a night.

heh, I too was in the circular meal business, though I never had the luck to become a transporter, I was always stuck behind the counter. Great comic, I almost couldn't answer the phone, I was laughing so hard

lol I figured it had something to do with the thing they had up on the worldofwarcraft.com site, where when SC 2 was announced, they had a big old picture with the starcraft logo and under it, it said "Hell, its about time", but i wrong, still funny lol
