This is a discussion my pal Richard and I would have. (11/8)
Late Tuesday night Mads (my guest comic guru) sent me an email linking me to a video of a guy beating Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames" on expert. I was impressed. But a comment in response mentioned another Guitar Hero that had more than doubled the guys score by 95%-ing the track. I was floored.
I wouldn't say that I'm easily impressed by feats of super-human Guitar Hero skill. The truth is that I understand that many people are just naturally better at playing the game than I will ever be. These people get a nod of respect. PriestMLH actually got my attention. I contacted him, let him know that I intended to do this comic based on his video and asked him a few questions in the process. Here's a link to the brief "interview" I conducted: Parallel Phases - GU's Interview with PriestMLH Thanks for your time with the questions and answers there Priest! PriestMLH's videos can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/PriestMLH If you're a guitar hero fan, I encourage you to subscribe to his videos and leave comments. ____________________ Today's Pimpage: Ted is wearing a "Delivery" shirt from Threadless.Com. Maybe the vibrations of the guitar sounds at that level of badassness is enough to open a dimensional loophole?

Yeah, but is he as good as the kid on Southpark who can play Guitar Hero acoustically?
*If you didn't see last night's episode of Southpark and you're a guitar hero fan, I highly recommend it.* |

Sturge, from the interview, Priest says he doesn't memorize the songs. So, honestly... no I guess he's not "as good as the kid on Southpark who can play Guitar Hero accoustically".
