As many of you know, I proudly use the Wacom Cintiq 21UX to produce GU and make every endeavor to spead the Wacom gospel any chance I get. It there was any kind of problem I could associated with the Cintiq it was that it was TOO big to take with me to conventions, etc. Not to mention I was scarred the baggage handlers would accidentally break it.

Well, today I got an email from Wacom telling me about a new product: the Cintiq 12WX. It's a 12.1" TFT, 16:10 wide-format, display that weighs just four and half pounds. Like with the 21UX you work directly on the screen with your stylus. But, unlike the Wacom, you could comfortably put this one in your lap.

I haven't been this excited about a piece of hardware since I first doodled on a Cintiq at the Sigil offices. Now all I have to do is figure out how to afford the $1000 pricetag. Like I said, I call it Lust. If it was inexpensive I would have just called it Oooooooo, wrote a check, and that would be that.

OOooo *drool* i know what Woody wants for christmas this year! lol that thing looks neat...now i want one too...but damn those things are expensive arent they...thanks woody yet another thing to add to my want list that i just cant afford...

Nah, I never ask for any gift that would qualify as a business expense.

When I clicked the link and saw the product I could have sworn I heard the Monty Python holy grail music playing. =P
