Since getting my PVP axe I've also acquired my helm and gloves. Now initially I had the helm graphics turned off. It didn't match my gear, you know? But after getting the gloves early yesterday, it helped me look a bit more "put together" to turn the helm back on. So, my purple braided beard is gone and in it's place is a an odd helm that I haven't quite decided exactly what it looks like.

Now, as sure as I am that Layo would lambaste me over the graphics, he actually didn't. And his mask makes him look like a pumpkin headed tiki doll so he wouldn't have much room to bash me.

All that said, I invite you to tell me what you think the helm looks like.

I think it looks like a pair of metal underpants covering a giant wallnut. Did he go to Uni ?

It does remind me of a spider. There was this old SNES fighting game called Weaponlord and the boss was a cross between a spider demon and a man. His head looked a lot like your helmit I think.

I keep all of the hat graphics on because I rather like the variety. Some of them look really silly but its all fun. Nothing beats finding the eyepatch, puting on a swashbuckler shirt, and buying a parrot from Booty Bay.

The top looks like a brain, in other words it looks as if your skull was cut open and your eyes doubled with the shock.

I'm working on the helmet (should have it tomorrow I reckon) and then I will have my 3rd piece of Gladiator for my warrior. Which is quite an accomplishment for me, seeing as I get bored after 2 or 3 rounds of battlegrounding...

It looks like Krang from the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. The brain-dude in a robot body. There's a picture of him on Wikipedia, just search for Krang.

Looks a bit like the Shadows from Babylon 5, though their heads were more triangular. Why yes, I am huge nerd.

Poor Layo looks like he got his helm at a Pier 1 clearance sale, though.

umm woody. why did you say it looked like a tachikoma? I thaought the eye on them were just a round ball with 3 dots on it for gits? or are you thinking about something else?
