With World of Warcraft's patch to 2.4 yesterday, the number of daily quests that can be done has been increased from 10 to 25. Source: WoW Patch Notes [ more info ]

Now, I was comfortable doing 10 dailies per day, they didn't take me too long, and there were enough extras that I could switch them up a bit so it wasn't the exact same thing every day. With 25 not so much. You pretty much have to do every daily to hit 25.

What amused me when I started doing my dailies last night was that I felt this weird obligation to do all 25. I didn't get close. I have too much else to do to dedicate that much time to basically just fly around and make more gold, which I don't really need.

So much else went live with this patch that I can only imagine you guys are itching to talk about them. So "on topic" for this thread should be considered anything relating to 2.4.
I for one am pretty happy with the whole fishing daily addition.

I'll never be able to do 25 dailies on one toon, lol. I found that the most efficient way (once you have them) is to do 5 or 6 of the fastest dailies, on multiple toons. I have 3 70s atm, so that's still 18 quests done per day, usually by time most people finish 10 ^_^.

As for new content, whoooooooo for 1sec Totem cooldown. Boooo for having the entire server on one tiny island trying to do quests. Massive framerate drop.

On the upside, at least there seems to be both horde and alliance participating in the unlocking this time. On my server, when the gates of AQ were being unlocked, the Alliance was so far progressed past the Horde, the Horde actually boycotted contributing to the opening. So we were like third from last to do so =\

I did kind of enjoy every one being over there doing new content though. It was so easy to do those dailies that usually take me forever because they're typically over camped. Get this, I ended up having to kill more than 5 ravagers in order to get to 15 flayers. I've never seen them just standing around like that.

About the only reason I can think of for upping the max is for those people who can't do dailies every day but want to be able to knock out as many dailies as they can, say, on a Saturday if that's all they want to do that day.

The number of people who can or will do 25 every day has got to be pretty small, but at least those folks will be able to grind out their Netherwing/Skyguard/Ogri'la factions while still doing some Sunwell.

The biggest issue I've had for new patches, is redoing addons. I don't even play wow any more, but I still have to do addons for my parents. You'd think that after the 20th iteration of showing them how to do it and where to get them, they could handle it. But noooooo.

love the new patch, but that is mainly because my new main hadn't attuned to BT and MH yet

They pulled attunements?

Hate the new patch largely because my guild is now talking about skipping Kael and Vashj and I want to have beaten them once or twice >.<

But 25 dailies? Awesome. I don't care that I'll never do them all in one day - I like that I can keep going on days when I need money worse than usual and have some free time, and I'll just stop when I get bored on regular days. No obligations here.

And the new honor grinding speed? Perfectly lovely. Did 4k honor in 1 hour last night, not counting the 10k I had saved up as marks from before the patch.

EDIT: Yes, all attunements removed except heroic attunements. Karazhan and BT/Hyjal gone.

I'd have to think long and hard before I can decide if I'm for or against pulling attunements. My knee jerk reaction is just plain disgust. People worked really hard to get into those instances. Then I sit and think about it, and I'm allways for every one getting to experience all the content. Then I waffle again, and decide that every one that EARNS it should get to experience all the content. It's a big internal debate.

That and it lowers the ebay value of my fully attuned and geared Illidan kiling Spriest. /shrug
