The last bubble is just rubbish. (1/8)
Coinciding with the film's 25th anniversary and subsequent rerelease on Blu-Ray, Atari will be launching Ghostbusters: the Video Game on June 16th. The game is being developed for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 by Terminal Reality, and for the PS2, Wii, and DS by Red Fly Studios. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson will all be reprising their roles to lend voice to the game.
Source: ShackNews [ more info ] I love the original Ghostbusters movie. The scientic jabber amused me to no end. But, to keep up with the times or possibly to create more powerful ghost busting equipment, I think the scientic jabber needs to evolve a bit, make use of some of the current prevailing terminology. That of course means rattling off a bunch of jibberish pertaining to M-Theory. I'll uhh... leave you to look it up on your own. **grins** --- On the Artist for Sale! front, we've raised around $700. And, my ad agency says they've mailed on a check. I have no idea how much it's for, whether it'll be for the whole amount or a fraction. So, until I know for sure, I'm going to leave the AFS stuff up. Again, I really appreciate all the support. I know how tough it is right now to give up any cash. So, the fact that you guys have come up with $700 so far is awesome. Much love! |

Man I still remember seeing Ghostbusters in the theater when I was just a wee ghostie m'self. Great movie, and the game looks like it captures the "spirit" of the movies quite nicely.

I want to play this game immediately.
I *can't believe* that Activision Blizzard sold the distribution rights to Atari. "Hmmm...we have this finished game that people have been excited about for years now...but it doesn't have the words Craft, Duty, Guitar or Hawk on it. Let's give it to someone else!" What did you do, Blizzard? |

Gozer: Are you a God? Ray: No. Gozer: Then... DIE! Winston: Ray, when someone asks you if you're a god, you say "YES"! Peter: All right! This chick is TOAST! |

This movie is VERY near and dear to my heart. It's one my Dad and I have watched together for years. He's watched it so much we actually had to buy him a new DVD of it... yes, a new DVD. I can't wait to buy this game for him.

Great! Somebody blows their nose and you want to keep it??
![]() Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I LOVE that movie! GRATS on the fundage Woody! I hope the ad agency's makes good on this one. I'd have donated to the cause, but kinda like you, I have nothing to donate with at the moment. Christmas was tight this year...the company I work for put everyone on an unpaid week off between Christmas and New Years, so I lost a week's worth of pay that I normally would have gotten. |

Great one Woody.
I remember a lot of good scenes from the original Ghostbusters movie. However, you are right the terms may be a little bit dated, lol. |

That great New Woody!
I got to meet Ernie Hudson at Monster Mania a couple of years ago. He's an awesome guy. Let us take pics with him for no charge. My son was very happy as he loves Ghostbusters. I agree on evolving the equipment a bit. Remember how huge cell phones were when they first came out? Now they are tiny! They need the pocket-sized proton packs. lol I bought my son the pack, ghost trap & the metering device toys from the 80's on ebay. LOL Cool to get back to the good times. We're all looking forward to the release of this game. |
